Essential Questions: What makes up an animal cell? Are corals plants, animals or rocks?
Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
- Develop a model of a cell
- Construct an explanation of the cell structures that help animals in obtaining nutrients in order to grow, reproduce, make needed materials, and process waste
- Understand that coral polyps are animals
